I went gluten-free in early 2015 so the recipes before that do contain gluten. You can find a fairly traditional recipe for brown soda bread as well as some great wholemeal vegan scones. This section also includes cakes and cookies.
This category contains recipes for sauces, dips and salad dressings. A mix of vegan and vegetarian recipes. Some good healthy dips for snacking on with raw veggie sticks – or tortilla chips…
This is where I put all dishes that don’t fit straight into the other categories. It includes breakfast, dinner and lunch recipes. My goal for 2016 is to include a new breakfast and dinner recipe each month because Soups & Salads are such obvious lunch choices. Though a bit more salad-for-dinner certainly wouldn’t hurt.
I put soups and salads together into the one category as this was intended to be my lunch menu. I pretty happy with some of the soup recipes I have but there is a bit of a lack of salads on the site at the moment. Need to add some more salads – get some good crunchy veg for my teeth to munch on.
Most of the recipes here also feature in the Breads & Baking category because so far most of the are baked treats. I don’t have very many vegan treat so far – which is something I’d like to change in 2016 because I imagine vegan treats are generally very low in saturated fat and so are quite heart healthy.
